I've done this and it works great! Don't cut too many slices or they turn brown while waiting on the 1st batch to finish. Also, you don't make very many at a time. I tried staggering plates in the microwave and they didn't turn out as good as a single plate....they were wonderful though. Dorothy Lefort-Johnson's idea

Also slice them pretty thin, poke thin hole in slice, but put potatoes in water to keep them from turning brown while cooking batches, dry off before putting on doubled paper-towel-plate in single layer in microwave for about 15 sec. salt with sea salt and enjoy. Di Holt Garcia's idea.
